How do i do this type of collage?

were reading Chaucer's Canterbury Tales so i have to make collage of a pilgrim showing a description of physical appearance, personality, job, and a subtle opinion of there behavior. i have an Elle mag and an Instyle mag but i dnt know how to make a collage representing a pilgrim, any ideas???
