Beth. Alec blames Char*** because Alec thinks that Char***was responsible. Char*** went thru Alec because he doesn;t want to be blamed. But Beth, she doesn't want to be neutral to close the case silently (it means that she was the one who responsible and doesn't want to be known. So she use languatic tactic.)
