What do you think of this idea for a scene in my movie?

I am writing a movie about a family that goes to their vacation home, only to be terrorized by masked ailants throughout the night. Well, in one scene during evening, I am going to have a part where the little girl, 4 years old, tells her mommy that she's sorry she was late for dinner and that she was playing with the clown in the backyard. In my movie, one of the ailants wears a clown mask, while the other wears a wolf mask and the other a checkered face. is this scary enough scene?
