NUMBNESS IN FINGERTIPS AFTER COOKING BURN!!?

I burned my left hand while cooking (gripped a hot pan) and now my pinkie and 4th fingertips have numbness. I am wondering if this is caused by damaging my nerve in my hand and, if so, will this heal? It's been about a week since it happened with no sign of improvement. i'm scared it won't heal and I'll have permanent nerve damage/numbness! Please help
