The way my boyfriend acts......?

So my boyfriend is black and im white and ive noticed when he talk to me(for lack of a better way to describe it) he talks like a white person, and he also talk that way to his friend lance who is black also. Now to his family and his other friends he talks "black" you know saying errbody and shorty..why does he do that? When i ask him he avoid the question and always say shawty thats how i talk to errbody down here.BTW hes in georgia and im in ny.
