Why don't Agnostics know what the word actually means?

The ones that burn me most are those who seem to think 'agnostic' = 'apathetic'' It takes a truly enlightened person to not only realize that they don't know for sure but that they don't really care anyway. As a recently ordained Reverend of the Church of the Apathetic Agnostic, I consider it my duty to straighten out the mistaken.
